COE Press Equipment has announced the appointment of Paul Sandrock as its engineering manager. He will be responsible for overseeing the engineering team as well as being involved in new product development and ensuring engineering activities are aligned with company objectives.
This is Sandrock’s second tenure with COE Press Equipment, having formerly worked for the company as a mechanical engineer from 2011 – 2016. Since then, he has acquired additional engineering experience in automation, robotics and controls for a variety of processes. He most recently was a senior mechanical project engineer at JR Automation/Esys in Auburn Hills, Mich., where he led engineering teams on large projects, managing workload and delegating tooling designs to ensure projects were delivered on time and within budget, as well as mentoring and training junior engineers.
“We are thrilled to have Paul rejoining the COE staff,” said COE President Reid Coe. “His familiarity with the COE product line and FEA calculators coupled with his broadened experience in a variety of technologies will be a great boost to our team.”
