COE Press Equipment Shines at FABTECH Mexico 2024

COE Press Equipment FABTECH Mexico 2024 Booth with SEYI

May 14, 2024 – FABTECH Mexico in Monterrey was a remarkable event for COE Press Equipment. Partnering with SEYI America, we showcased our Series 212 Servo Feed and Controls attached to SEYI’s press at the Cintermex. Although the weather outside soared to 110°F, the atmosphere inside was cool and comfortable, perfect for networking and exhibitions.

Strong Representation and Warm Welcome

FABTECH Mexico 2024: Showcasing innovation that is transforming the industry.

President Reid Coe, Assistant Sales Manager Trish Thomas, and I, Hugh Little, Marketing and Communications Specialist, represented COE Press. This was my first tradeshow. Additionally, our Mexico team, including Regional Sales Manager Roberto Aguilar, Service Technician Christian Lopez, and Service Engineer Fernando Alvarado, joined us. They welcomed us warmly and made the event memorable. Consequently, our team felt right at home from the start.

Exciting Developments with PMA

The PMA (Precision Metalforming Association) held a significant planning meeting to launch its Mexico chapter. This development will open up exciting networking opportunities for members and is a promising step for industry professionals in Mexico. Moreover, it will facilitate greater collaboration and knowledge sharing within the metalforming community. Furthermore, the planning meeting was well-attended and sparked a lot of enthusiasm among participants.

Scenic Accommodation and Delicious Cuisine

Next to the Cintermex, Parque Fundidora, with the iconic Cerro de la Silla in the background, offered a beautiful area for walking.

Staying next to Cintermex, inside Parque Fundidora, we enjoyed the scenic backdrop of Cerro de la Silla. This picturesque setting provided a relaxing retreat after long days at the event. Additionally, we shared delightful dinners with the SEYI team and our Mexico dealers. These meals strengthened relationships over authentic local cuisine, including Monterrey’s specialty, cabrito al pastor. These shared meals were not only a chance to enjoy delicious food but also an opportunity to bond and discuss future collaborations. As a result, our partnerships grew even stronger.

Team Building and Community Connections

A highlight was our team-building experience in beautiful San Pedro. We watched the fierce rivalry between Tigres UANL and C.F. Monterrey. The energy and excitement of the match were incredible, and it was a fantastic way to unwind and build camaraderie. Moreover, the camaraderie extended to the event itself. We met many familiar faces, including past and current customers, association leaders, and friends from previous FABTECH Mexico shows. Therefore, this sense of community is one of the many reasons we look forward to this event each year.

Successful Showcase and Innovations

We sold the Series 212 Servo Feed and Controls we displayed during the show, marking a successful outcome. This sale was a testament to the quality and innovation of our products and the effectiveness of our exhibition strategy. Additionally, the event showcased numerous fabrication solutions, including lasers, plasma, waterjet, welding, powder coating, robotics, and augmented reality. These technologies highlight future trends poised to impact the industry. Seeing the latest advancements and innovations was truly inspiring. It provided valuable insights into where the industry is headed. Consequently, we left with a renewed sense of purpose and direction.
