COE Press Equipment has recently shipped a 24″ coil processing line to TRA Snow& Sun (American Fork, UT), a manufacturer of snow guards, solar tile mountings, roof ventilation products and flashing.

The coil processing line is comprised of a Series 4 servo roll feed, a Series 350 24″ power straightener, and a 24″ coil reel with 8000# capacity. It is designed to process steel coils up to 24” wide and 40,000 PSI yield.  It can handle material thicknesses from 0.035” to 0.187″, depending on the material width and achieve a roll speed of 396 feet/minute with a feed accuracy of +/- 0.003″.

The system features the SyncMaster Touch integrated controller, which allows operators to manage both the feed and straightener functions, setups and diagnostic reviews from a single, user-friendly touchscreen. SyncMaster delivers high functionality typically only associated with full custom systems.
