COE Ships Press Feed Line to Metal Fabricator

COE Press Equipment has recently shipped a coil processing line to a contract stamper and fabricator of a variety of metal components and assemblies in Minnesota specializing in deep draw stamping and serving a variety of industries.  The new coil feed line can handle coil width up to 30-in. and coil weight up to 10,000-lbs. It is designed for processing mild cold rolled steels with 45,000 PSI yield from 0.035 to 0.250-in. thick and up to 0.125-in. thick with materials at 40,000 PSI yield, depending upon material width. The roll speed rate can reach 318 feet/minute.
The line consists of a ServoMaster™ Series 4 Roll Feed with SyncMaster™ line controls along with Work Roll Advisor Settings on the screen. SyncMaster controls allow the operator to manage many of the servo feed, straightener, and coil reel setups and functions from a single touchscreen including line speed averaging loop control, loop depth setting by recipe and automatic lubrication control.

The 30-in. power straightener features 3.5-in. diameter work rolls and 5-in. diameter pinch rolls for optimum straightening capability with a payoff rate of up to 122 FPM. Standard features also include a pneumatic raise and lower of upper pinch rolls, and optimized roll diameter and center distance.

The 10,000-lb. capacity coil reel can accommodate 72-in. diameter coils and is equipped with a hydraulic traveling coil car and remote job pendant. The line also has a 30-in. by 20-ft. threading table with an adjustable passline feature.
